2019 NACW Board of Directors Deadline extended to: July 2, 2019
Are you ready to make a difference for Commissions for Women across the country? If so, consider becoming a NACW Board Member. To be eligible to be on the board, you must be affiliated with a Commission for Women/Commission on the Status of Women. No more than three Directors shall be elected from any one state (This limit does not include Officers).
Prospective board member candidates must submit an application form and:
Be willing and able to participate in all regularly scheduled NACW Board of Directors conference call meetings and “urgent” board conference call meetings as necessary as well as make every effort to attend any face-to-face meetings, such as during the annual conference
Make every effort to attend each NACW Annual Conference, including pre- and post- Board Meetings during your tenure as a board member
Participate on one or more standing committees, including Task Force projects
Act as an Ambassador of NACW at all women-focused meetings or conferences in your Region or State.
Actively support the Fundraising effort by offering Regional corporate contacts
Actively support membership efforts including pursuing additional Associate Memberships to NACW in your commission, Region, and/or State.
